Co-operations and strategic partnerships
FIZ Karlsruhe has extensive business relationships and partnerships with information providers, database producers, publishing houses, full-text suppliers and customers involved in R&D in Germany and abroad. We also work together with numerous academic institutions non-academic research organizations and scientific societies.
Our most important partners from a strategic point of view are:
Chemical Abstracts Service (CAS)
Chemical Abstracts Service, a division of the American Chemical Society (ACS), is the world’s leading provider of quality-checked chemistry information. In a strategic partnership FIZ Karlsruhe and CAS jointly develop, operate and market the online service STN International and offer customer support. A new task of FIZ Karlsruhe within this partnership is to contribute to the production of the CAS databases. Chemical Abstracts Service (CAS)
